Events

There are a large number of annual events in the Town, and a number off one of special events, find the details for them here.

 

Out of This World Event 2009
The Out of this World event will take place in late August or early September this year with a wide selection of hobbies on show for the whole town. It is going to be bigger and better than last years event with it expected to stretch over two days with different hobbies on show each day.

St. George's Day Celebrations
This takes place on the Saturday closest to St. George's Day (23rd April) and can feature a wide range of activities.

Crook and District Festival
The Festival takes place around the Carnival day, with most events in the week before the Carnival.

Crook Carnival
On the first Saturday in July the Town comes alive with people and the carnival procession takes place down Hope Street finishing with the main events in the Cricket club. 2008 saw the 80th anniversary of the Carnival and was opened by the first Carnival baby, Jean Cowing.

Crook in Bloom
This annual event started in 2007 and grew last year and will now take place every year. For more information please click here.
